National lead on Prevent. Vice President of Leicestershire Scouts and Guides. Vice President of Police Mutual. Visiting Fellow of Leicester University Criminology Department.
High level strategy development and complex organisation leadership skills. Responsible for £175M budget. Board member of DMU and previously a Junior School Governor.
Prof. Maurice Galton
Retired Professor and Dean of Education, University of Leicester.
Expert in and consultant to a number of LAs on transition between primary and secondary school, creativity and well-being. Research e.g. for the government funded Creative Partnerships (2002-8) which became Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE).
Dr Khalid Abdul Karim
Consultant Child Psychologist, University of Leicester
Significant experience working with schools and special needs. Lead on ASD. Delivered training to the National Autistic Society. Published author on autism and mental health.
Pardip Singh Shoker
Principal Estates and Rates Manager, CEMEX UK Operations Ltd.
Extensive experience in the property industry including the Civil Service (Valuation Office – schools’ evaluations) and private consultancy. Managing teams and projects within Real Estate. Previous governance roles include Trust Director, Chair, Vice Chair and Governor in various schools. FA qualified grass roots football coach – currently working with under 7s and under 14s football teams.

Kam Karaji (Vice Chair)
Chief Information Security Officer, Telent Technology Services
Extensive experience of operational management, risk assessment profiling and mitigation and compliance management. Former Police Officer. High level of understanding of safeguarding. Project Griffin trainer for the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO)/ Home Office.

James Lawlor
Enterprise Release Manager, Lloyds Banking Group
Leading geographically dispersed teams of 200+ to manage and deliver multi tier Digital Banking application stack. Creating and delivering strategic software architectures. Experience of leading transformational change.

Peter Reeve
HR Director, Motor Neurone Disease Association
Extensive knowledge of HR in commercial and charitable sector. Experience of structural and cultural change programmes; introduction of leadership frameworks; corporate management structure and governance reviews. Former work in HR for a construction company and a general hospital.

Sajeeda Rose
Chief Executive, D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership
Creating strategic economic plans to deliver growth. Management of large public sector funding programmes, corporate governance and partnership collaboration.

Liz Sahu
Relationship Manager, Health Education England
Extensive knowledge of Apprenticeships and career development. Sat on the National Apprenticeship Standards Group. Passionate about social mobility.

Damian Thurston
Vice Principal, Countesthorpe Leysland Community College
Lead practitioner for Character and Culture, inclusion and vulnerable pupils at CLCC. Founding strategic lead for Thomas Estley Learning Alliance, focusing on initial teacher training, CPD and school to school improvement.
